Meet Justene

Ms. Justene Lauren Hapitan-Alalong "Music is my voice, so let’s talk” Justene Lauren discovered her talent in Music during her High School days. She studied in Statefields School Inc, A school for Multiple Intelligences in which her talent and love for music was developed. She was a President and a pioneer member of “Sforzando” (The school’s chorale group). She also created an all-girls Band named, “The Nevertheless”. Justene plays the lead guitar for the band. The Band won 3rd place in SM Center Molino Brothers and Friends Battle of the bands last 2007. Justene later on realized that Music is what she does and Music is inside her. She plays the piano, guitar and sings very well. She was the only chosen student in her batch who graduated with Musical Intelligence Award. Because of that, she decided to take up formal lessons to enhance her talent at the Conservatory of Music in University of Santo Tomas under Professor Leonilo Mangussad. In the Conservatory, she was given a lot of opportunity to perform and showcase her talent. Currently, she is working as a free lance Music instructor. Her love and passion for teaching the kids will always be inside her. She makes sure that her class is always a fun learning environment. In addition, she also teaches and conducts the CGI Choir. Her greatest achievement so far is being locally recognized and awarded as the “Most Promising Female Singer”. It was given to her by The Philippine Social Media Awards last 2017 at Edsa Shangri-la Hotel.
