Meet Lina
“Scrubs by day apron by night. It’s therapy."
I found my passion in cooking at a very young age. It didn’t quite occur to me that I would be using my gift, my talent to cope with every day life. Some people end their day with a therapy session; I end my day with pots pans and tons of dishes. I started helping my mom in the kitchen with her small catering business in my early teens. I would pretty much help do all of the prepping. I always found myself in the kitchen when anyone was cooking. Overtime., I picked up the basics; frying eggs, making fries (like literally peeling the potato and making them from scratch) putting meats the oven, making vegetables, making our traditional food mostly for my dad; because he was very particular about what he wanted. My friends served as my judges. Once I got the hang of things and started to elevate, I started to cook for my friends more and they would always just give me their feedback and I just elevated from there.
Imagine going from putting chicken in the oven to grilling octopus? I often look back, like "wow see how far I have come?"
I’m so grateful to be able to communicate through food, specializing in different cuisine’s and always looking forward to learning something new.
Food speaks more volume than just to the palette itself. It’s a good way to network, gather with family and friends. I love trying different cuisines! My over all concept is delivering foods from from all seven continents, taking on different recipes and creating my own.
